Indigo Renderer (http://www.indigorenderer.com/) is a great fairly new unbiased render engine (like Maxwell)...

The quality of rendering is great....and its comes for Free!!
Here are some examples...

Hope you are impressed by now :)...

The good news for Rhino users is there is a Rhino exporter (http://rapidshare.de/files/21161764/R2I_0.1.4b.zip.html) too.

Visit the Indigo website to download the Renderer (http://www.bennolan.com/nick/indigo_05.zip)as well as the exporter.

I've been experimenting with it for some time...but no luck so far....but as soon as I get something fruitful I'd post here.

It's a nice renderer, and free too!
lets use it...

what do u think?

I download the Indigo.exe file and the exporter (rvb file) then what?

copy the RVB file to rhino>english>script folder and then load (browse) the script from rhino's tool>script menu..

then it would guide you thorugh the command panel. just follow the instructions there ... the exported files would be saved in different folders as XML then modifiy the inifile.txt file to render the main expotred xml. then double click on the indigo.exe the rendering would start.

Looks nice!

Ya because after exporting I can't render :( some problem is there which I cant still figure out.

I'm looking for some tuts. lets see.

Well, I tried it a couple of months ago...

The illustrations looks impressive and all, but its slow, and a bit tricky to use.
Will never be my favorite, Ill stick to Vray.

If you need something free, Im sure you chould get some good results with this though...

Well I agree with you, this is really slow, and Vray is way more production friendly....but as a free option this one seems worth a try....that way, if we wait for some time Brazil 2 is going to come with Rhino 4 which would also be a good option.
