snitch,
No one but Anry should be sending you his script unless they have prior written permission from him to do so.
Please either find a way to contact Anry or just wait to see if he gets his site up and running again.
Thanks,

What are these scripts you guys keep talking about. I use Painter constanlty and have yet to stumble upon these scripts. What am I missing?

Hi Terro,
The particular script we're talking about is a recorded script of a painting Anry did that can be played back by other Painter users so they can watch his painting develop. I do wish we could still download it as it's really fun to watch. Maybe Anry will get his site up again and make it available.
In any case, Painter records a script of everything we do in a Painter session and those scripts are stored for up to 10 days in the Scripts library, depending on the number of days the user sets for Painter to Auto Save scripts. To set the number of days, go to:
Mac - Painter IX > Preferences > General
Windows - Edit > Preferences > General
If your Scripts palette isn't already open, in the Window menu, choose Show Scripts.
Click the small arrow to the right of the little thumbnail in the upper right corner of the Scripts palette to open the drop down list and see some sample scripts that come in the default Painter IX Scripts library. Here are those script names:
Tim Warnock 1
Greg Smith 1
Greg Smith 2
To watch a script play back, highlight the one you want. Then at the bottom of the Scripts palette, click the Play icon (second icon from the left) and sit back and enjoy it.
Script names like "10/6/2006 9:02 AM" are your scripts Painter automatically records for a Painter session and you can play those back too. Sometimes you get what you expect and sometimes not but it's fun to play them back anyway just to see what happens.
There's lots to read in Help Topics about Scripting, a whole chapter as a matter of fact that you'll find on the Contents tab.

ohh yeah, I remember when I first installed painter I did something and the mouse went all wild and automatically started painting a image of a Mecha. I wasn;t sure how they did it or what it was but it was a pretty cool tool .
Thats pretty awsome to know, thanks for the helpful info as always Jin. :)

Hi,
Jin had explained clearly how the script works but I must add that it can sometimes be a lifesaver and worth to look into. I had once overwrite a file that I had worked for three hours by a previous file of the same name and all I need to do is to look up the script of that three hours and let Painter run all the steps of what I'd painted again.

Hi,
In this thread, started by Anry in the CG Choice Gallery: 2D, Illustrations and Concept Art[/url] forum, click his name to view Anry's profile where you can either PM him or send him an e-mail:
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=114407&highlight=Anry (http://forums.cgsociety.org/forumdisplay.php?f=137)
The thread is dated 2004 so he may or may not still be active here but it's the only way I know of to contact him since his site isn't up and running now.
Also, at deviantArt, Anry's profile where you can "Send a note":

Good luck!

i think that unfortunately the deviantart account isn't useful here: "Offline for 96w 4d 19h 2m 13s"
I downloaded a screencapture movie of that piece from anry's site while it was up and running and kept it ever since.
It's about 12MB in size.
