View Full Version : rendering with finalrender!
byronic 02-01-2003, 01:51 PM hi, how can i render with finalrender. i have finalrender and the plug for max 5. But how i can chose that max have to render with finalrender. In the rendering tab, there are no entry to chose finalrender such as brazil or vray.

Final Render is an addition to your scanline render, you have to activate it first, but check the manuals for more info (cause I'm not sure how to activate it). I assigned a key to my quad menu to activate it.
i preffer to add it as a button next to the render button
customize your UI and look for final render globals. there is where you can use it.

;) :p to give ur model some finalrender mat will helps u!
and turn the GI on in the mat editor panel after u choosed that mat.

If you haven't added the fR tab to the Quad Menu (see one of the videos to tell you how) you can still activate the fR Menu from the Material Editor. Go to the Material Ed., create a fR material, go down to Final Render Parameters and select fR Globals. That'll bring up the same menu as when you add the shortcuts.
Beyond that, there is much to learn. I'd suggest going through all the videos, start testing simple scenes, and work your way up. Look at the Final Render forum, too, it is really helpful.
