First, to save me writing a 20-lines description please look at this kind of board:

Where letters are changed by flapping through planes. How would one do that in Cinema? I did such an animation for the intro of my 2006 Reel, but that was all hand animated in XSI and it really was a pain to get it finished.
Now I've got an idea for an animation which uses this display-technique quite extensivley and there is no way I'll hand animate all this.
I tried my luck in Xpresso with Interator node, Rangemapper and that sort of thing and while I think that I've got some quite decent intermediate knowledge of Xpresso I wasn't really able to come up with something.
Really the best thing to have would be a Null with all the planes as children. You dublicate those Nulls to set up a board and then you could asign a Letter to display as userdata to that respective Null. That's my wishlist and I completley failed at building it :D
