Definitely slick! Is this for a game or just low poly modeling or whaT? Er, well I looked at it again and I realized it actually doesn't look that low poly, but it has game-ish textures, so I guess that's what led me to think it!

That looks great, but you really need to up the contrast on the black areas. It's not very visible on your renders, and it's a shame to lose all that detail.
he reminds me a bit of yoshimoto from tekken for ps and ps2 nice job!
Excelent... Nice design and textures!
A tad dark i think... maybe a photoshop Levels correction or some light work will make it a killer!

Wow man, I know he's a "Dark Knight" but heh a bit too "Dark" ;)hope you don't mind but ALOT of detail was lost in those dark areas.

Oomph! Dat's NIIICE! :buttrock:
I like the original dark ones a lot better than the gamma corrected ones, though... :hmm:
Me tinks it needs to be that dark, and the detail in those areas is just to have SOME detail, rather than solid dark faces.
I mean, yeah, the details show better in the modified ones, but the original ones are much better pictures.

Dude, LilD just did a quick level adjustment to show that there is a lot of detail that goes lost. Of course the pictures look a little funny. Overexposed and stuff. But you can see that there is a lot of detail that we can't see as it is now.
Personally, I think it should be dark, yes, but you should also be able to see the details, otherwise, what's the point of having it?

If that's under 3000 polys then consider yourself the best low poly modeler on this forum!
Great work!
Great stuff, i would have liked to see some more Ansel Adams in it to give some added detil in the shadows (I think you already knew that ?!? ;) , but a great dark knight :)

Right done man !
I've looked at your map and I think you can get more space by using one element of the armor for different part of the mesh and not repeat them on the map :surprised
Congratulation
Hey, thanks :)
The figure alone is 2216. And the sword is 166... for a total of 2382 faces.
Here's the link to the wireframe shot:

Crash: Some other Crash. Hehe
Yeah. The texture is dark. But that was the goal from the start. It's not too terribly dark, though... I think my monitor is just brighter than most peoples? If you look at the texture in the right condition (at night, with all the lights off) things should read a bit better. I found that sunlight (or any kind of light for that matter) drowned out all the dark areas. So I got limited to only doing the texture at night. Heh.
tpe: I don't know who Ansel Adams is... but I'll be sure to go google the bastard's name!
Programs used Adobe and 3DS Max
I don't know what the deal with the throne is right now. My buddy wanted to unwrap/texture it... but uh... I don't know how that's going. And someone else also expressed interest in possibly remaking the throne and texturing it, too. So I have to sort all that out.

I miss the horse you had and thought he would be textured a lot differently, but pretty cool.
