Title: QC
Name: Brian Weston
Country: USA
Software: Carrara, Photo-Paint

This image, in keeping of with the theme, was done for my company’s web site. I named it “QC” for “Quality Control”. It is a product image that was also to give across a feel of a product that meets high standards. The audio transformer, in the foreground, was models in Carrara. The texture editing was in Corel Photo-Paint. The final rendering was done in Carrara 5 Pro

Pretty cool-looking, but I want to point out that the position of the right earpiece of those glasses creates an interesting/confusing tangent with the nosepiece; it looks like the one flows into and becomes the other. Now, if you wanted to be Escher-esque about things, that's cool, but otherwise, tangents are considered a composition flaw--they "flatten" your image; you might say they trick the eye out of percieving depth in the image.

Thanks for the comments. I will see about changing the glasses frame a little so that it is not tangent with the noise piece. I did not see it when I first rendered it. Again thanks for all the comments.
