CGTalk - Editing Tools.

Ok so I have been through many a tutorial and have found that some talk about setting spacing and scatter for certain tools like the brush or smudge and so on. I was wondering how the heck you do this? Where do I go to find the option to set the spcaing and or scattering?

All the options for customizing brushes are accessed through the Brushes palette. If you can't find this anywhere, you may need to click Window > Brushes (hotkey F5).
