The teaser for Lissi and the Wild Emperor is up at the official site under "filmroll". Its really short but it looks great. Remind me of The Incredibles from a character design standpoint.

perhaps you know the old Sissi films?

It´s a parody on those films, developed during a comedy series by Bully (www.bullypara.de).

It actually looks rather well done. Probably too much to hope that it gets a release over here though :/

The production of the animation was handle by CA Scanline Production GmbH (http://www.scanline.de/) which also worked on Hui Buh: The Castle Ghost (http://www.huibuh.film.de/). Check out their site to see their impressive work.

Constantin Film (http://www.constantin-film.de/) plans to release Lissi and the Wild Emperor in Germany on July 19, 2007.

I really don't understand these Bully Films - Dunno, just doesn't work for me. I don't find this guy funny at all and all the films he released were poorly written and tried really hard to be funny with reusing jokes that I'd be too embarrassed to tell my friends, since they're on a really low level. But I like the work Scanline is doing. I just don't think that this kind of humour would work outside of germany. Heck, I even wonder why it's working inside of germany.
