Blizzard Entertainment seeks a Senior Web programmer experienced in developing Web-based applications for our internal and external websites. The programmer would be responsible for creating new and improving existing applications in a high-load, high-availability environment. The ideal candidate would be experienced in Java, web-related technologies, and relational database design.
Requirements
5-7 years of Web programming experience, including experience with Java, servlets, JSPs.
Experience architecting multi-tier applications in clustered configurations for a high-load, high-availability, and secure environment.
Experience architecting multi-tier applications in clustered configurations for a high-load, high-availability, and secure environment.
Experience in relational database design and SQL.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Passion for games.
Plusses:
Experience with developing localized Web sites/applications.
Experience with XML, XSLT, Ajax, O/RM, and AOP.
Experience with common Java Web programming frameworks (e.g. Struts, Spring).
