I want to buy a laptop to run Maya 4.0.

Alias|Wavefront says the only video card they really kind of support is the nVidia Quadro2 Go.

Do you have any experience running Maya with these newer laptop cards?
- 64 MB DDR NVIDIAŽ GeForce4 440 Go
- ATI Mobility Radeon 7500
- other 64MB or more video cards

A couple other threads have touched on this,
but not with much detail..

Anyone had luck with GeForce cards?

"There are many cards based on GeForce256, GeForce2 and GeForce3 chipsets. nVidia and Alias|Wavefront do not recommend these cards for use with Maya 4.0 as you may experience various refresh, display and stability problems and inadequate performance. We suggest you choose from nVidia's workstation cards instead, such as the Quadro DCC or the Quadro 2 family (Pro, MXR, EX) which are much better suited to highend 3D packages such as Maya."

Please let me know of any problems you've had with viewing some Maya windows or drivers or ?
