O.K. Here's my new project. He's a little cleaner. This is a shaded wire with no meshsmooth, still in halves and stuff (that's a technical term (stuff)).:hmm:

Hints and suggestions more than welcome. This is certainly a WIP. Planning some characterizations if things keep going so smoothly...A nice hat maybe...rosy cheeks...

(WOW nothing wierd has happened yet!!)

Anyway tell me what you think!!

Sorry but this looks more like just a sphere with arms and legs quickly pulled out than it does a turtle.

Try getting more of the oblong shape down and the curvature of the shell in there.

Spriggan,

Thanks. You're right...He's in a rather early stage right now. I posted him cuz he's the first one I've been very happy with and to get some help early on to aviod (hopfully) some of my past problems.

Maybe if I quarter him...ack I'll just work with the mesh a bit more.

Before you go too much further with it, I recommend checking out pics of real turtles. You've got a few anatomical mistakes there so far, which will make it much more difficult as you proceed.

It's showing great progress though. I look forward to seeing it progress.
