Hey, new to this forum section.
So just saying hi.
I'm just starting to learn Maya. I've taken a crash course from Max to Maya, and will start a more indepth Maya course starting tomorrow! Anyways, the small game I'm working on uses a 3DS Max exporter, and I made most of the models in Max. However, I decided the best way for me to learn Maya would be to create all the new models I make in Maya, but BUT I'd still have to export the files to Max so I could export them for the game engine. I've searched like a madman but can't seem to find anything that'll help me.

What I need is a small program that can accept Maya files and then export those so that 3DS Max can read them.
Any help on this would be great.

Thanks again,
B

Try with Deep Exploration. It's standalone program which convert most of 3d file formats. I use it and it's really good. If you want maybe I could send it to you by email?

Actually, Iafter a quite a bit of searching I came across Kaydara's free plug-in. It does file formats over all the 3D programs...animation you name it.
Thanks for for the other program...if I run into problems with this one I'll for sure try out the other:)
