Title: Prexis the Damned
Name: Jesse Taylor Irvin
Country: Canada
Software: mental ray, Photoshop, XSI, ZBrush

This is a render of the head of Prexis the Damned.

He is the Antagonist in a story I am working on. Leading the Armies of the Lord of Rage under the Third Legion his eyes are at times described as absorbing the very light around them.

"There is nothing left. As my eyes steal the light away from the very space that surrounds them as does my hand steal your very soul. And with a blink all is dead before me."

I think you overdid the wrinkles on the forehead because the detail is comfusing, you could refine the veins and wrinkles a little more on the hole head using a close-up picture reference, and that hair looks weird from where it comes out.

That looks great! It might look a little better if you did a map with the veins on the subdermal or epidermal layer of the sss shader. You could also use the color map to integrate the hair into the geometry. Good job!
