It's all in the in the subject :)
No light, no texture for now. I know I had to refine a bit the nose and add ear... But I want to know what you think about it :)
And the big size image (http://www.sombre-monde.ovh.org/temp/tete07.jpg)

well, for the first, its quite impressive.
i remember my first was a true smashed, melted monster.
keep up the good work.
try to make a head every week to become familiar with the cuts.
the next step is try to follow a pre-determined drawing
or idea of the face.

Bronzilla : maybe... Never try to animate a thing :)
M-K : right... stolen demo of a friend. If izware is going back I will try to have a student licence. For now I play with it for a month...
If not I hesitate with XSI and Maya... don't know.
Kadde : will try, but going to be hard with school teacher who allways want to see my drawing :) Will follow your advice!
