My last way to draw illustration help me to have fast and efficient ( enought for my taste) rendering with Painter9. It's allow me to do this type of character design in 3/4 hours, witch is confortable to assume my work, with the quality I like to produce. May be I will be more and more faster with time, and rendering will become more direct /sharp and good. I hope and I want.
"The desert of Mushroom" is a fictive story I build on the fly to speedly make new experimentation with software.
Comments and Crits about this concept art are welcome.

Well done David, this is a very nice sketch and I like the overall design and use of colour.
This would make a very good story book illustration. I would love to see more of your work.
