Title: Lighthouse Battles
Name: Carlos Araujo
Country: Brazil
Software: CorelDRAW, Photoshop

An old and abandoned lighthouse is now a place for epic battles in the mind of a little boy. Some times the lighthouse takes the role of a monster as you can see here.

The theme here - similar to "Summerhouse" - is the way the new generations build their own world over the ruins of the old. That lighthouse was useful once but now is only a desert place... in an adult's perspective of course!

"Summerhouse" was a very relaxed image but for this one I was looking for a more dynamic composition... That's why the scene uses this crazy perspective.

The perspective was created with a little help of 3ds max: I did a (very simple) dummy model of the scenario and choose a camera angle. I used CorelDraw to... well draw and Photoshop for the colors.

Thats different, but awesome.
I like the colors and the way it looks as if cut out of paper. Good work.

Interesting concept, some kind of different. Well, about the artwork, I also like it. The way you
filled the elements with the background itself is great.
muito legal, parabéns!
