can you show us some screenshots of the problem?

Did you check Add/Remove in Control Panel to see if it's there?
If yes, go to your My Computer->C drive->Program Files->Rhinoceros 3.0 and drag the Rhinoceros to your desktop for shortcut

If no, press Control+Alt+Delete and make sure no Rhino3.exe is running under Processes (Right click and choose End Process to kill it)

I don't know what other problem there might be, maybe you just loose the shortcut to start the program?

I had the same problem. When the message comes up about Rhino already installed, wait for about 10 mins to see what happens. In the end the message went away and I was able to proceed.
