Hi andre,

There is no way to use Mips under Windows 2000 nor Windows XP, Those Operating System were produced only for X86 processors. There was an old version of Windows NT for Mips but Microsoft has stopped supporting it.

Hey - I canīt figure out why you would want to use a Mips processor... The only slightly cost effective use for them is in large multiprocessor servers and or clusters in the million dollars price range.

What would be your primary use? Stick with an Athlon or Pentium...

to use dual athlon MP chips, you need a motherboard with an AMD760MP or AMD760MPX chipset.

back in the day NT 3.5 or 4.0 had support for Alpha, PPC, and Mips processors...
