A ground for shadow would be nice and I'm not sure what this is supposed to be
The material appears too refelective, though...
Anyway, Babel Fish tells me, that the thing is called scatterer and somehow I expect a different look. Transparent, made of glass so that you can see the contents. That would be cool.

if you did it a couple of years ago i guess you are not going to tweak it in any way, but yeah some ground plane wouldve been nice, like a table or something... and the composition and DOF is just not very interesting, all the white adding to that effect...

the right saltshaker (if thats what it is) looks scaled down and blurred... not like a true depth of field

looks great but i would like to know what program you used to make it, how long it took and also the lighting looks fine but it really needs a backdrop.. maybe something like a forest would look pretty cool =) good luck.

Neat stuff--I like the way the further pot is slightly blurred, to give it a distant look. All done with a 3D program? Very cool....

and, by the way, the reason why theres no ground shadows, is that the image is rendered on an 300mhz, it would simply take to long time to render it :p
