Very nice piece of work. Personally i think would be great to see that creature in a resisting pose instead of standing there and got beaten up. May be its just me :D haha..
Anyway i like this piece of work :)

glad you guys liked it. I totally agree with the crits, I was addmitedly rushing to get it all together. Been putting together some images to show what is probably a little more difficult to see.
Heres the head in Z-Brush

The head close up rendered, (I didn't bother cleaning it up cus sadly it's hard to see in the final.)

and an ealrier render with a 3 point light setup that I was testing with

It looks great! Wonderful work with armor and cloth.
The only crit is that the background could maybe need a wee bit blurring because now there's so much contrast going on.
What a nice Work! Modeling, shader, render... Congratulation!
In my mind, an other camera framing will be better than this, and i'm agree the background should be a little more blured... but very nice picture!

Nice work - very complete scene and very dynamic poses.

Great to see your stuff up here man. I was really curious about this piece and I think that even with all the deadline issues you did a solid piece of work.
For crits I just think the overall picture has too much information, namely the background which makes the composition hard to read. Also I really like the pose on your paladin but believe the left hand along with shield straps should actualy be aligned with the shield itself but I might be wrong...
Love the colors scheme and overall feel
Now KEEP IT UP!!!

Great work Jesse! The armor and cloth are fantastic. I would have to agree that the composition is a bit too busy. The characters themselves, and their poses are very strong. Keep it up!
