Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an experienced programmer to develop and maintain customer-facing database projects for World of Warcraft. Responsibilities will include maintaining procedures for character transfers and web-integration, developing internal tools for server/data administration and reporting, and coordinating with other departments (web, network operations, etc.) during the development and deployment of future data-base related projects.

Requirements

Experience with a procedural SQL language (PL/SQL, Transact-SQL, PL/pgSQL, SQL PL).
Experience with database design.
Strong web based reports/presentation building skills using Excel, Perl, SVG, XML, XHTML, XSLT or other comparable languages and reporting packages.
Skilled in data analysis and statistics.
Experience building user interfaces.
A passion for video games!


Pluses

Experience with Oracle.
Knowledge of C/C++/Java.
Skills in statistics, art or writing.
BS or MS in CS/Mathematics/Statistics.
