View Full Version : Emitting Softbodies with collisions?
Medicine Horse 01-31-2003, 02:59 PM Is this possible at all? I don't have time to test it just yet but I'd love to hear if anybody has tried to do this. Thanks. I'm thinking like many water balloons hitting the floor or something similar.

hmm.. not that i have tried..
but if you want to use the particle instancer to emit them, the answer is definitely no (the instances wont have their own rigid body attributes)

Yes its possible. Since your softbody is made out of particles, you can apply a collision event to the particles thats driving the softbody and have those particles emit other particles when it collides.
Any more detail would need a more specific scenerio or what exact action needs to take place.
