I cant wait to see what xsi 6 will look like. CAT has some amazing animation tools I would love to see in XSI.

Whatever happened to CATmuscle?

I'm really interested in switching to CAT but having the muscles possibility would be a big influence in getting it.

afaik it's probably still under dev: http://www.catoolkit.com/products/CATMuscle/default.asp still exists, but also I think it's going to be sold separately anyway: "CATMuscles link to any 3ds max object which means that you can use them with Bipeds, custom rigs and of course CATRigs."

Actually, I think I overheard Phil tell someone at SIGGRAPH that CAT muscle is no longer being developed further. But it was a whirlwind on the show floor, I could be completely wrong.

Yeah I just looked at the demo video demonstrating CAT's abilities. Pretty impressive.

From what I've heard, this not the case at all.

The problem with most muscle systems is that they are not robust enough to be implemented without a lot of hand holding. CAT muscle shows a lot of promise, my understanding is that CAT muscle is still not rock solid in extreme poses.
