hi all! i've posted in xsi's forum because i'm an xsi user and want to know if zbrush can succesfuly be integrated into a production pipeline in which is involved character animation. more precisely i'd like to know if a character is textured and has a displacement map made in zbrush, would it encounter problems at animation such as texture/displ geeting screwed? do i have to edit the UVs in xsi or other app (bodypaint) to get the expected results? the kast time i've played with zb i found no tools for uv editing... did that changed? finaly, is zbrush worthing the money considering that my purpose is doing a lot of character animation?

no one used zbrush's displacement with xsi's animation?:sad:
i think there are no problems with displaced chars...
the only thing you have to do is make a clean retopo model...
means the animated model has to be as close as possible to the sculpted one...
