create a layer
draw an organic or geometric shape
use the rectangular marquee to select it
edit > define brush
select a brush, change the brush uh.... "often-ness" or whatever? to a small # like 3% or 3pixels... it's in there. U'll know what I'm talking about when u do it....
start drawing w/ the brush and the brush repeats the pattern along the draw path so u get that swirly 3D wireframe-ness...

I can't seem to get it right, could you post a screen in which I can see our custom brush please? I'm not so experienced, but all I get is a weird line of weird made brushes. It doesn't even come close to a wireframe web.

Hi, I'm new here and have been observing this site for a week or two now. I came across this thread and decided to try it out and was able to come up with this (don't know if it's good or not, but oh well...):

:)
I did what you said to do. However, I made an oval-shaped-brush (not filled of course). What I did: I used the brush with the airbrush tool-->*very slowly* dragged the brush down for it to look like it does-->under filters I went to the lighting affects and chose *omni* with a green color, then I used the blur tool to blur the insides of the "cups."
Note: In the brush dynamics (brush option thingy) I faded the size and pressure of the brush.
It's pretty easy to do; thanks for the tip! :D
