Hi guys, i'm wondering what's the difference between Standard edit brush and inflat edit brush? I saw the magnataur tutorial at the ZBrush official website. He used inflat edit brush to sculpt the head. Actually, what's the difference?? (Standard edit brush and inflat edit brush is at the transform pallete). I saw the magnataur that he sculpted that the surface is rough. how to do this?? please help me.

By the way, the focus which we can adjust, will it affect when we sculpt? The things i mean is beside the diameter/size of the brush, does it affect other things?

Please help me..Thanks.

It's hard to tell but the standard brush pushes or pulls geometry based on your screen local axis or viewing direction.

The inflate brush expands the mesh in the normal direction of your affected region. This is especially useful if you want to build muscle mass and the sort.

The focus is useful for softening your details. In terms of painting alpha deformation via the projection master, it does nothing, but when your in standard brush mode, it will allow you to control your brush falloff basically. You can put in a much more specific falloff by adjusting the brush curve under the transform menu.

Just a pro-tip, most of your questions would be answered with a handy feature, which is to hold CTRL and do a mouseover of all the commands. It comes up with a decent explanation of what everything does.
