Not really "news" but I've found it only today, after seeing that so many people having troubles with wacom and 2 screens.

This utility will allow you to switch the monitor while using your pen with a shortcut. You can download and use this utility for free. If you like it, please make a donation. This application will NOT change your existing drivers. For Intuos, Intuos2, Intuos3, Graphire, Graphire2, Cintiq 21UX, Cintiq 18SX, 15X, PL500 and Cintiq Partner use the 'Intuos3' settings.

For Graphire3, Graphire4, Graphire Bluetooth, Cintiq 17SX/PL-710, DTF-510, PenPartner and Penabled Tablet PC use the 'Graphire4' settings.

In fact, I found the program yesterday, but it didn't support my Graphire 3, and I sent an e-mail to the programmer, and I got a generous and quick respond, and with a screenshot of my wacom's driver's interface, he found the bug and updated his little program to v2.2.

Not everyday you'd find such a nice treatment - I'm speachless!

Perfect timing - i've been considering the switch to dual monitors and was wondering how my wacom would fit into the picture.

Hi all,

I'm the developer of the wacom switch utility. Thank for your positive feedback! If you encounter any problems, please send me an email. Use the latest drivers and utility to ensure this is not the problem.

Best Regards,

Pieter

Agreed! First it didn't work for me, after a few emails back and forth its now version 2.3 and works like a charm.

Amazing that Wacom never came up with a solution like that and kept ignoring peoples requests.

V2.4 you mean

actually I meant 2.3.

When I thanked him for the update to 2.3, I made a suggestion for a future release (including the windows key as a possible shortcut key), which he implemented in version 2.4 only minutes later :)

Way to go...

Can someone tell me what this Wacom problem is when working with 2 monitors??

I have had a Wacom and running a dual-screen for many years now... but haven't had any issues with my Graphire tablet.

you might want to read about it here:
http://www.wacom-europe.com/forum/topic.asp?whichpage=1&ARCHIVEVIEW=&TOPIC_ID=665

Its also a quite entertaining 14 pages read, considering 4 years of ignorance from Wacom towards a customer request.
