Hey all-
I am entertaining buying Maya Complete ( all I can afford )...several issues....
I am a Max Student (from 3D Buzz' U4 Class recently, which I completed)
Have heard great things about Maya...I have some reservations...
Rendering:
Does it suck as bad as I hear? How is Mental Ray?
How is the quality of Rendering?
Can you net render with one license (running a dual Athlon)
Are there any Max and Maya users who can give me some nice comparisons..not bashing...cuz both programs have strong points..know what I mean?
And why is it so cheap in comparison to Max, XSI, and Houdini (well Houdini that is another story)
Is AW not doing well, and therefore dropping prices..?
any feedback would be nice...from some Maya users!
