Hi in there.
Here's one other short i did last year for fun.
It was a kind of collective homework i've launched to my friends, we had almost a week, after respective jobs, to create a "self portrait" or kindoff, resumed to:
"what's in your head at this present moment!"

I did this one

I cuted stuff, DV mainly, from the beginning, to keep this sequence which, i think, is amusing.
Introducing my favourite test character while i was playin' with 3ds max, the "Black Diva", name of a Thomson TV model if i do remember well.
It won't be the first TVheadLady that you'll see i presume, but this one has the groove i think.

Score is from Add'n to X, so it HAD to be SEXUAL!

Hope you'll enjoy.

and for those who failed to see my last thread about the boxer, here's a quick link for some other animations. (hell! the guy insists!!!).

So...
ouf.
CGTalk moderators had to put another server online, we were close to the edge!
What a score!

Everyone had to leave to go and vomit?
Sic!

I'm sorry, ...

I'm gonna make myself comfortable, enjoying a good coffee.
Put "Intelligence and sacrifice" from Alec Empire.
and then i'll think about my next work.
yeah!
meanwhile, who knows what could happen...

My personnal suggestion of playlist for tonight is:

"Too many DJs" from "Soulwax" to start (the whole album of course),
Then, Miss Kittin, Live on the Road,
Relax a bit with one or two remixes of Rubin Steiner by NinjaTunes kids
The single "Honey", from Tosca,
François Feldman, "les Valses de Vienne",
Grooverider, "mysteries of Fonk",
and Faith No More, "the gentle art of making ennemies".

i like the colors and i think the editing is okay, and doens't make me want to vomit, but maybe that's cause i'm used to artsy video art "crap" LOL :P anyways... i dig it actaully... but i think that the animation of the character's tits are in there too much... i think that it could have been abstracted more, like the part of her side overlayed with other footage... less tits more abstraction.. i mean it looks like it would work for what you are going for... it's got a nice 70's look, mixed wiht 90's cyberpunk... huh that's kinda funny... :scream:

you're right!
It may be a bit "too much", and, just for the "anecdote", i remember saying myself, after almost 1 hour of tests and adjustments of the FLEX, "you're ok, you're not insane, you just have to do it!".
Funny...

By the way, the "hard_version" makes people disapointed and distracted from the breast, because of a part of my anatomy sliding on the Black Diva & the background, creating... uhm... let's say "interactions", that i have cripted so i can now propose it for schools diffusions :)

Thanks for the Video art crap, i can't hide those early years of conceptualization, it sticks to me even after years.
In fact it's true a part of my work tend to go that way. arty stuff.
But i SWEAR i won't be one more of those jackass "amusing ze galery" (what a crossword), with superficial fx and big damn concepts.
I hope at least it's graphical and fun or distractive. If people wants to analyse and see the "what's behind but not so far", i can only enjoy.

And for the "nice 70's look, mixed wiht 90's cyberpunk", well.
f****** "A" would say the Dude, but i'm not so i'll just say thanks.
