wondering if anyone has any experience with trying use simplemakerPro to reduce the number of poly's in an interposerPro character import.

i'm finding that the characters (specifically Daz figures) are way too heavy to get an effective playback of animation in the viewport.

before i drop ~$130 on the simplemaker plug, i'm wondering if it'll keep all the interposery goodness intact, or blow it apart..

thanks!

ps: i know you're going to tell me to model my own characters, b/c poser ones are just too heavy, but i'm taking waaay to much time on this project as it is..

I wouldn't recommend it.

The weighting and morphs depend upon the vertex count and order not changing.

Poser object materials and Figure visibility depend upon the polygons - indirectly through the Polygon Selection tags.

Basically, this sounds like an explosive mixture.
