I've been working on this project called DragonWars for a long time. It's a feature length film made in Lightwave. I've decided to split it into 4 volumes. I've finally finished the animatics/first pass animation on Volume 1. It's been a long, gruelling struggle, but I now have the basis for my film. The plan is to fine tune the animation and do post production until the film festival deadlines (probably May or June).
With all I have learned, I plan on producing a new Volume each year until the story is finished.
I'd like to thank all the CG Talk members who answered my technical questions.
There were some people who tried to talk me out of such an ambitious project. I am so glad I didn't let these people get to me. The sense of accomplishment and pride I feel right now makes it worthwhile.
I haven't updated the website animations for a long time (sorry, been animating), so what you see there now is really early, inexperienced work. You can expect to see much more polished work uploaded later.
