I started working on these two characters with a short ani in mind. Unfortunately, I seem to have temporarily lost interest in the project, but I still like these guys. Just looking for a little feedback, thanks :)

Very cool style, I really like the Newt image with those huge suction cup feet, something sorta pleasant about the character.
The ant has a nice blend of cartooney and realistic, however you could make the neck thinner like at the abdomen and thorax connection. Also a more shiney texture for the ant as well.

Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, I agree about the ant neck ... it is a little bulky ... and I'll add a little polish to the guy:) Thanks for the feedback.
