Hi I'm Wondering if there is a script or modeling plugin for maya that will alow me to randomize the vertices i choose. Mean i can select any number of vertices and choose which axes to ranmize there position and limit the amount to randomize? does that make sence? i really need to make a large number of objects and would like to quickly randomized certain vertices but only slightly enough so that not one looks the same but will still be ya know the same object. or does maya already have something like this and i've over looked it? Well this would help me out alot so any ideas would be great!!! Thanks

Just to mention a few ;-)

If those still not what you are looking for - then search on highend with the keywords: random or noise - they have a few more on this topic!
