very cool connection and integration as a viewport panel. the biggest drawback i see though, is that you're doing things as line strokes and waiting for the result.

who wants to paint like that? this is something that beta users would catch and complain about i would hope...

other than that, awesome stuff. thats quite a big drawback though.

Yes, we use the 3dsmax standard painting tools for complete compatibility. Also remember that in the video we are painting while the capture tool is eating a lot of resources. Standalone application do have some advantages here but also you have to export your model out of 3dsmax and work in a foreign environment. Ghost painter is all about using the tools you already know right inside 3dsmax :)

please dont use long movies embedded in flash.. it runs very slowly on my computer. I'd much prefer a .mov to download.

I also get error messages in firefox and internet explorer
amd x2 4200
2 gig of ram.

Sorry guys, The flash seems to work well for most people. Maybe try to update flash or use IE.

Flash movies work fine here(using Opera browser).
