Hi guys,
Im stuck working with 3dsmax 7, and after painstakingly making a model of a human head based on one of my coworkers, I realise I can't pelt map it with max7.
Would anyone here know of a good effective pelt mapping tool for max 7, or a nice usable program that can import and export uvw'd meshes into max? I'd appreciate any suggestions with this. Or, alternatively, would anyone know of a good UVW mapping tutorial specificly for heads?

Thanks!

i dont know if there is any plugins but you can use spherical mapping to get similar texture coordinates:)

Thanks, That worked well for the head. Now if Only I had a simple way of streching out the ears so they dont overlap.

I think if you select the overlapped verts and then go to tools, relax uv's i think that should do it:)

Actuallly there is a script called LSCMUnwrap (http://www.scriptspot.com/download.asp?ID=3283) which covers peltmapping for versions below 8.

I don't know any sepcific tutorial for unwrapping an ear, but I found this one (http://waylon-art.com/uvw_tutorial/uvwtut_01.html) very helpfull.
