pretty good for your first try. you're showing a good command over the tools you're working with.

but the problems aren't with the technique, they're with the theory. the anatomy is off, particularly in the arms and hands (paws?).

also, you're lighting is flawed. presuming the moon is the only real source of light, it is coming from behind and above. however, on the creature's right arm (our left) and shoulder, chest, and leg, you've suggested that it's coming from below.

these are the two major problems i see here, but they're not that difficult to fix. there are plenty of good books and tutorials on anatomy and lighting. maybe someone could provide some good links? if not a simple google search will throw up loads of suggestions.

You're right, the lighting is completely... strange! I simply didn't think very much about it... I'll do in my next pic!
I'll study the anatomy, in particular for the hands, they're my damnation! About the arms, can you tell me what's in the wrong place and where it should be?
