Title: horse of tomorrow
Name: Hong Ling Yang
Country: Singapore
Software: Photoshop

i read abt and article sayin earth will xperience another ice age in 30 millions yrs. i thought abt how animals will evolve in order to adapt to the changes. so i drew this horse. its mane and fur is much longer n thicker to keep warmth. the grass will all b frozen and the horse have to eat bugs. so it grows shorter to stay closer to the ground and look for insects and also aid its eyesight due to the lack of sunlight. the hoofs become paws in order to dig for insects. hahaha..4 those hu find dat tis is crazy, it is alrite to luff as it is my plasure to bring laughters to u. :)

Larger ears require that more bloodflow goes through them, and in a frigid environment the blood would have to travel a long way through a relatively exposed surface, consequently cooling the animal's body temperature. You will notice that modern day desert fauna have larger ears, while animals in the tundra tend to have smaller ears. It's counterintuative for an animal in a harsh, glacier-like environment to have large ears. Besides that, your art is fine.

What about rabbits? They live in the snow and have large ears...
