cinema 4d- a lot of animation problems!
Guys I have a lot of problems with a interior animation. First I want ti say is that this is my first animation so ... I'm rending all the animation in tga image sequance, import all the images in Affter Effects 7 for some effects, export for Premier Pro 2 for some sound and here goes the problems. I want to play it in DVD. I donnt know what exactly is format for DVD in Europe. I read more about all the TV systems PAL (for most countries in Europe) and NTSC (USA and ...). So I want to be a 16:9 widescreen PAL 25fps. I donnt use any codec for compresion and after the export. When I play the video it blinks (mostly around white color) and its like a slideshow from frames (I cannt explain this in english sry).

I'll be very glad if some one explain me how to solve this- no blinking, no slideshow frames, what will ne the right export and codec settings for me. If the problem can be in renderings?

Render settings I've try:

resolutin: 720:576 D1 PAL
antialiasing: BEST
filter: Animation
min-max levels: 2x2 8x8

All other settings are standart. No global illumination (donnt ask why).

So pls CINEMA 4D USERS PLS HELP

thx Nasko

P.S. sry about bad english ...

do you use 25 fps while rendering the images?

How big is the movie file? Since you used no compression, I would assume the file is huge. As far as the play back being choppy and slideshow like, it could be that your computer cant play the movie at the requested data rate. Try a compressed version and see if it plays smooth...if that isnt the problem, check your render settings and FPS.

Hi. Any files that you wish to burn onto a Video DVD must be MPEG2 format. You can do this in Premiere Pro 2.0.
What format did you use to export out of Premiere Pro - are you using AVI or QuickTime, for example?
And when exactly does the display problem occur?
Best.

I'm rendering a image sequance then import this sequance in after effects add a RSMB(RealSmartMotionBlur). then export avi without compresion. put it in premiere add some audio and export it ot DVD video 4:3 PAL mpeg2 25fps. then burn the dvd and when I play it in dvd player it slides and the white color blinks. the avi video is 2Gb after the compresion it becomes around 200Mb.

thx guys i still need some advice how to do this.

Pal DV 720x576 px by 25 fps ; 1,067:1 Pixel Ratio; lower Field frist ;if you go to 16:9 use the anomorph equivalent.
Also watch if you used the safe areas not all of the video will be seen on a TV, Beamer Etc.

Best way as you did Tiff ord TGA sequence import it to AE or Premiere works there also render it and play it.
export it as Mpg 2 file *.M2V via media encoder and audio as *.Wav pcm ;works in one step; import it to Encore and throw it in a timeline add some menues if you want and you are done.

DV Pal quick and dirty

you can also render it progressive ( no Fields) but you need to watch that your animation is not moving to fast then you ether need Motion Blur included or as posteffectin AE with RSMB and or Fields that might be also a point

have fun
