i tried a better version but it was not allowed to post a file with a filesize larger than 30kb?!?

i like it, but it seems that the colors choosen for the blocks in the middle are too noisey. too many different colors. i like your modeling and rendering though ;)

hmm, real lego stones, this will be a lot of work and a lot of stones ;-)
about the colors, maybe i will rerender it again with less colors and better radiosity settings. thanks for the comments anyway

Looks pretty good man,

One thing is an eye-sore for me though, those colors are too many and are clashing, I suggest limiting them and choosing colors that mesh together better. Background texture could be more crisp/better defined too.

New render/image still looks fairly blurry too.

GI would look great one this I think, maybe make a scenen with all the legos, that would be nice. The purple complety takes away all the detail from the blocks.

ok, here is a julia set, if i have some spare time on the weekend i will rerender the apple again with different colors for the stones and will post a high res version then.
