create a poll?

sorry...wrong forum...meant to put that here. So any takers? I'm looking to create a poll in the General Discussion forum.

BEFORE creating a poll, think through your question and poll options carefully. Type them out in notepad or something and think through them, as you won't be able to edit your poll options after you create your thread.

So for example, if your question is, "Where do you live?" - please make the question more CG related than this, it's just an example - make sure you think through the poll options you want to list and type them out.

Place 2
Place 3
Place 4
Place 5

Note that you have 5 poll options.

To post a poll, create a New Thread, and state your question, such as:

Where do you live? in the text area. Then BEFORE submitting your thread, scroll down to where it says 'Post a Poll'. Check 'Yes, Post a Poll' and enter the number of poll options you want (the default is 4, you will have to change it to 5, in this example).

Click 'Submit New Thread' and you will be taken to another screen where you can enter each poll option and then finally post your thread.
