Title: JSA Brownstone
Name: Tyler Yaehne
Country: Canada
Software: Maya

A speed modelling challenge in my 3D Animation class just before the holidays: make a street corner in less than 30,000 polygons. I finished at 22, 860 polys.

Modelling, texturing, and lighting by me. Total time was 2 days.

You have several problems in this picture:

1. Scale. The scale between the different models has to be tweaked.
Compare for instance the trash bin and the doors. Either the trash bin is huge or the doors made for Hobbits. The same for the street lights.

2. Perspective problems. Look at the texture maps that shows the inside of the building.
They make the inside floor look like its at a 45 degree angle.

3. The stripes on the street have the wrong dimensions.

4. The phone booth is HUUGE!
