Title: Desert
Name: Andrea Bertaccini
Country: Italy
Software: 3ds max, combustion, Photoshop

This is a battle grouping of some Semovente 75/18, an Italian Tank of the second World War, used in the El Ala Main Battle.
I reproduce that for an animation, it's a part of a institutional CD rom for the storical wapon builder company OTO MELARA.
All was made in 3ds MAX, remdered in RPF and postprocessed in Combustion.

Great work! The tanks could use a lot more variation (dirt, wear/tear, etc), but other than that it's excelent!

Oto Melara Machines were just great, congratulations on getting that job to do !

I also think it's a little too clean, maybe some dirt would improve it.
Also I noticed the specular is a little too high for combat tanks, I didn't research about those old Oto Melara ones, but generally they use a low specular paint so it does not call attention at distance under high sunny days on desert like that.

Sorry about my boring crits, but I just love your work style and overall it's very good.
Would love to see it animated if possible. Will you be able to show it on CGTalk ?

Best regards,
