This is my first post, and my first attempt at a human body. I'm going to school in Orlando for computer animation, and this is going to be used in my final project(if it turns out). I have a background in sculpture, but this computer stuff is new to me. So please look him over and offer any crits you can come up with. As he progresses I'll post some wires and other views. I know nothing about edge loops so any advice in that regard would be nice.

Maya 4.0, 2400 polys so far, maybe I'll convert to subD's

cool start, the legs look theyre going in the right direction of toning, it would be nice to see what reference your running from cause he's incredibly toned on the upper half of his body... must be his earlier years.

But very good work so far, hope you complete in time

your anatomy is so much more complex and interesting than mine, heh. I'm definitely into that model, the chest and stomach are really good and the legs seem to be coming along nicely. keep it up, i hope it turns out for your animation and all :D

edit: I like the animation plan as well

I haven't been able to work on this for a while, but here's some more pics. These are SubD's. I know it's not even close to being done. The arms have not been touched, nor have the legs. I'm trying now to work out those pesky lower back muscles!! Anyway once I get the torso pretty close I'll move on to the limbs and head. Wish me luck.
