plug3 01-30-2003, 08:48 AM Just a little short:
Hi-Res divX (4mb) (http://64.27.75.86/skip/skip1.avi)
lo-Res divX (1.5mb) (http://64.27.75.86/skip/skip_lo.avi)
Streaming QuickTime (13mb) (http://64.27.75.86/skip/skip_error.html)

Thanks for your comments. (And for taking the time to download it :) )
I did my 'divX homework' and the avi is now 4.2 mb.
Also the quicktime is streaming so you don't have to download the entire movie to start watching.

A really wonderful bit of animation.
It is always nice to see happy little bugs getting exploded by lasers.
Ah - the fond memories of childhood....

Thanks everybody!
Jas: Thanks for the nice words!
robingfx: What do u mean?
For the look of it, I struggled on the CD look. I tried some realistic look, some electron microsope look and I ended up with a mix of 3d render and 2d gradient to get the feel of the 'color diffraction' of cds.
I also struggled at the end with the editing. It was hard to keep the flow and the 'humour' of the initial idea when you look at the same sequences over and over. And the soundtrack was really driving me crazy at the end too :wavey:
Anyway keep the comments and critiques coming so I can keep on learning...
lol
excellent!!
 :D
