View Full Version : CgTalk Daily Sketch 835 45 MN "Freefall"

"Freefall"These are the rules:

You have 45 mnto do your sketch. IF you go beyond the assigned time limit , you have to post WHATEVER you have done after the time has expired, along with the FINAL drawing.
Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
They can be done on any medium.
If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
You can post an entry at anytime for the topic presented on this thead BEFORE the voting thread for THE WEEK has been posted.
The artist also has to post total length of time it took and program used.
Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
The topics will be picked at random from the list on the TOPICS thread >>LINK<< (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php/?t=145003)
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them).

Nuthin' fancy....just to get my bad self back on the computer, and I've not submitted in AAAAAGES! *lets the festivities begin*

Edit: PS7, 20 interrupted minutes, one brush, one eraser. That is all.:shrug:

about 35 mins.
at the end of a relationship when you are hurt and don't know where to go,
you feel lonely. i think "free fall" fits really good for this picture.
( sorry but i can't express exactly what i mean - hope you understand it )

here's mine at 45 minutes. I've decided to make a effort and try to make a really nice picture out of this sketch, so I just went ahead and spent all the time on the hair^^ hope I got the size right now..

don't quite know what the inspiration for this was...a little flame spit out of a fire, and it won't last long...28-30 mins, Photoshop.

Here is my freefall sketch... black ops style!
1hr PS and Wacom. really got into this one
Everybodys stuff looks great esp DeeVad...awesome motion, Surrealix.... great perspective, Kbarts...funny as hell.

Hi everybody... I know it's voting time already, but I was planning to enter this one... So I hurried. Like always now, I DIDN'T check everybody else's entry before painting my piece, otherwise I wouldn't have entered given Lowki had pretty much exactly the same idea, except much better drawn :P, and Codenothing has about the same angle. There again, better drawn. Still, you end up getting there my very original idea :)

Anyway, here's mine, photoshop+tablet 45mins, then Illustrator 10 minutes for the lens flare.
