Title: Building in Caldas da Rainha
Name: Paulo Almeida
Country: Portugal
Software: 3ds max, AutoCAD, Photoshop

Just another building for comercial and housing use i modeled for a client, used 3d studio max and photoshop.
I am trying to achieve a better look on my works, so there is the reason i put them here for C&C.
Thanks.

Hi Paulo,

modeling looks ok. Camera could look a little bit more up, so you see more sky and cut that boring grass. On the right side of the building you have three trees and end of ground like there is nothing but sky. Try to put some fence or other small building so you cover the end of world :)

So, the main thing your image is missing is radiosity and global illumination. That will give you realistic look. If you did not use it before, try to dig over max manual and everything will be clear in no time :)

It will increase the quality of image for a few categories.

all the best

hi,
the model looks fine, but the lightening could use work...
i would direct my efforts in this direction becouse the lightening makes this image much less apealing than it would actually be with a propper light setup
you should check out how some other people in these forums did this and try to emulate their results.
this allways pushes me in the right direction...

here is an example of what im saying

hope this helps
