Hi,
I know this has been asked before and I've actually found some threads talking about the issue but I'm still facing problems.
I have an animation that I've imported into After Effects (7.0) as an OpenEXR sequence. I've done everything I wanted to do (adjusting the exposure being among them) but after I render the composition and view it outside of AE, it looks a lot dimmer, almost as I never brighten it. I tried a lot of AVI/QT/WMV settings and it always comes up the same. The only option that worked is if I render it as an uncompressed AVI which obviously is not an option as I plan to post the animation online.
Now, I've read in one of the threads that this issue can be avoided by outputing it as WMV (didn't work with the default presets that I tried with) or as a motion JPG QT movie (I tried Motion JPEG A and B but when playing it, I get only a black screen and the QT player crashes). Also, that thread is two years old so I guess that a few things have changed since then. Sorry if it's a dumb/noob question but I'd really appreciate some help.
