Im pretty confused as to why my arm "rig" is scaling automatically whenever I key a frame (or even just scrub through the timeline without even keying anything). As soon as I do so the geometry that I've converted to bones using the "bone on" box in the bone tools menu pops a whacked out scale. I thought checking the "none" box under stretch would keep this from happening, but alas, it does not. If someone knows what I'm doing wrong please let me know.

Thanks!

my guess (and it may well be wrong) would be that the objects u are using as bones were shaped with 'non uniform scales' at some point. This is often the problem when things start scaling strangely, especialy when animated with rotations.
To fix I would suggest using actual bones instead of geometry :(
if you are too attatched to the geometry that u have already made then it should work if you reset the xforms of all the bone objects (no guarantees)

hope it helps, nice modeling by the way.

cheers
