Hi everyone

Can someone please tell me how to make a shortcut icon on the toolbar for the extrude tool.

By toolbar do you mean a shelf?

If you do, then just hold down Ctrl + Shift and then left click on the Extrude menu option under Edit Polygons.

Ctrl + Shift adds any menu item to the current shelf.
