Does somebody know if itīs possible to capture DV on quicktime format on adobe premiere for windows?

pretty much like final cut does it in mac...

thats not possibe (as far as i know). but you can open these DV aviīs in quicktime and save it if you want as QT without reencoding.

but the files are played back with "low quality" settings at default. you need to set this flag for each file individually. that sucks.

No, you can't capture native QT DV NTSC in Premier, same the other way around you can't capture Windows DVNTSC in Final Cut Pro. These codecs are native "real" time to their operating systems.

There is a really obscure software solution called Winvdig http://www.vdig.com/WinVDIG/index.html

I have not used this but it is about the only thing I have heard of.
